GUATEMALA .900 SILVER 1/4 REAL 1889 AU Repunched Date/Doubling Rev KM158 sh-US
A Silver One Quarter Real from GUATEMALA, 1889 in AU condition with a repunched date and doubling on the reverse in stars and 1/4. These coins were very small. It has the volcanos and sun  on the obv. and a large 1/4 fraction and REAL on the reverse. A high percentage were holed and used for jewelry by natives. I have included large close-up images for your convenience.
